RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — As ballots are still being counted in the Riverside County Registrar of Voters office, former candidate for Sheriff and Retired Hemet Police Chief, Dave Brown, has endorsed Lt. Sheriff Chad Bianco.

In a statement sent to supporters today, Brown stated, “Chad Bianco has proven that he can beat the incumbent Sheriff, Stan Sniff, in November. But more importantly, he has convinced me that he has the character and integrity to be a great Sheriff.” Brown continued his praise for Bianco’s ideas. “Listening to Bianco’s ideas and solutions to the department’s many issues gave me confidence that he will be able to address the crisis in the department quickly and effectively.”

Lt. Sheriff Chad Bianco currently leads the election for Sheriff after the June 5th Statewide Primary Election. Bianco will now face incumbent Stan Sniff in a run-off election this November.

“I’m excited to have the support of Chief Dave Brown headed into the November election,” said Chad Bianco. “As a former Police Chief, there is no question Dave Brown knows the issues affecting law enforcement. I know we will be able to work together to make changes in the Sheriff’s Department that will make our community safer.”
