RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – – Today Lt. Chad Bianco announced receiving the endorsement of two of California’s largest law enforcement organizations in his campaign to be Sheriff of Riverside County. The California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations (CCLEA) and The Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association (PPOA) are both backing Bianco in the election.
“What we have in this election is eroding confidence for Stan Sniff among the law enforcement organizations that represent the rank and file,” said Bianco Spokesperson Andre Levesque. “The amount of support lining up behind Lt. Bianco clearly displays that Bianco has the support of the officers who patrol the neighborhoods and that should tell voters everything they need to know in this election.”
CCLEA represents more than 80,000 law enforcement professionals from 37 different associations in the State of California and the Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association (PPOA) represents more than 8,800 law enforcement professionals. They join the Riverside Police Officers Association, the Southern California Alliance of Law Enforcement and the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association in backing Bianco in the campaign.
Lt. Bianco has worked his entire career in the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a career that has spanned almost 25 years, earning the admiration of his peers along the way.
The election for Sheriff will take place in conjunction with the June 5, 2018 statewide Primary Election. Keep up to date with the latest endorsements as they are announced by visiting www.ChadBiancoForSheriff.com and signing up for email updates.
