Sheriff Deputies Back Bianco

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Chad Bianco of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced his intention to run against incumbent Sheriff Stan Sniff today. Lieutenant Bianco has served Riverside County since 1993.

“The sheriff’s department should be about service and safety, not politics. The incumbent mismanaged tax dollars and allowed our citizens to suffer under higher crime rates. It is time for a change at the top and I am the candidate who can bring that change. I’ll start by repairing the relationship between the Sheriff and our deputies and will work to bring the entire public safety community in Riverside County together to make our county a safe place to live and work once again.”

Lieutenant Bianco has 24 years of experience working patrol and management levels of the Sheriffs Department keeping our residents safe.

“Under my leadership, the Sheriff’s Department will be focused on community oriented policing while moving toward a proactive approach at reducing crime rates. This will take leadership to build, and I will be ready on day one.”

In addition to his official campaign launch, Bianco announced receiving the endorsement of the Riverside Sheriff’s Association.

“I’m proud to have the support of RSA in this election,” said Bianco. “Having the support of the ‘boots on the ground,’ the deputies that are responding to calls every day, is very humbling. They are the heroes of this community and they know what it takes to make our community safer. My partnership with the Deputies on the ground will make a big difference in turning the office around.”
